IREM San Antonio Chapter February 14th Luncheon will feature our annual panel discussion on historical, current, and future local and national CRE market trends with local industry experts.  Our panelists will discuss trends as they relate to multi-family, office, retail and land real estate sectors from their first-hand experience.

Panelists

Christi Griggs, CCIM, TBAE

First Vice President, CBRE Advisory & Transaction Services

Christi Griggs is a First Vice President working with real estate investors and occupiers in transaction management, strategic repositioning, disposition consulting and asset management, primarily on Class A & B office and mixed-use product. Her unique background in interior architecture feeds her creative approach to creating and implementing strategies for her clients. She takes a trusted ownership approach and is committed to the success of her clients.

Prior to coming to CBRE, Christi served as a partner and new business development lead for landlord representation with Peloton Commercial Real Estate in San Antonio.

 

Gene Williams

First Vice President CBRE Retail Services Group
Gene Williams is a First Vice President with the CBRE Retail Services Group. In this position, he acts as a team leader for landlord and tenant representation in Central and South Texas. Mr. Williams is also a leader of the CBRE Urban Platform Team, which focuses exclusively on leasing and consulting for specialized redevelopment projects in the urban core. Additionally, he works with the Investment Properties Team to assist clients with the acquisition/disposition of single tenant, multi-tenant, development, and re-development properties in these markets.
He was a recipient of the San Antonio Business Journal top “40 Under 40” Rising Star in 2012; he has been honored as the Top Retail Heavy Hitter in San Antonio for 2015, 2016, 2017, and recently in 2018; and he has been honored by CoStar with the Power Broker of the Year Award from 2008-2018. Since 2015, he has been involved in transactions totaling over $250 million in total consideration.


Jill Welborn, CPM, ARM, CAPS, CA

Managing Director, Greystar
Jill Welborn is the managing director at Greystar with successful history in the real estate industry. Skilled in Team-Building, Asset Oversight, Real Estate Development, Dispositions, and Real Estate Economics. Strong business development professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration from New Mexico State University. Certifications include CPM, ARM, CAPS and CAM. Past President of the San Antonio Apartment Association and the San Antonio Chapter of IREM


Ernest Brown, IV, CCIM

VP, Investment Sales, Rohde Ottmers Siegel
Ernest is a Certified Commercial Investment Member of the CCIM Institute, Ernest has over 32 years of experience in commercial real estate, including selling, leasing, foreclosing and managing real estate properties for public, private and institutional investors and owners. Ernest earned a double major in Economics and Natural Resources from The University of The South in Sewanee, Tennessee, and was a recipient of the Outstanding Young Men of America Award.

Kevin Williams

Farm & Ranch, Rohde Ottmers Siegel
Kevin joined Rohde, Ottmers & Siegel Realty in August 2017, after receiving his Commercial Real Estate license, to head up the new Farm and Ranch division. He is partnered with Ernest L. Brown, IV and Jorge Rodriguez, whose primary focus is on the firm’s International Investment division.
Kevin is a graduate of Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, where he received a B.A. in Spanish. Kevin’s minor was in Animal Sciences, where he became familiar with ranching, while getting to work for a number of local ranchers. Upon graduation, he pursued a career in public education as a bilingual elementary school teacher, while also continuing to work with horses as a Ferrier. In 2011, he decided to focus solely on his horseshoeing and hay sales businesses, further exposing him to a wide variety of farms and ranches throughout Central Texas. In 2017, he decided to get his real estate license, so he could use his knowledge of Farm and Ranch to assist those looking to sell and those looking to buy farm and ranches. Rohde, Ottmers & Siegel Realty is excited to add this new division to our firm!
Kevin, a native from El Paso, is a 17-year resident of the farming and ranching community of Rio Medina, Texas, where he continues to run his ferrier and hay sales business. Kevin is a patient and persistent broker who works hard to identify the right area and type of property for his clients
