Plans and coordinates the annual Bowling Tournament.
Marketing and Communications Committee
The Marketing and Communications Committee is responsible for managing our social media presence.
CPM©/ARM & ACoM Admissions Committee
Conducts interviews with candidates and makes final recommendations to IREM.
Education and candidate Guidance Committee
Helps plan and coordinate non-designation educational offerings, courses and seminars. Assists in the promotion of designation classes to members & potential members. Attends a portion of each class held locally to help host a chapter luncheon to answer questions, promote classes, etc. Hosts 2 candidate guidance breakfasts each year. This committee also coordinates the chapter’s mentor program and explains the various educational tract options.
Community Service Committee
Oversees chapter volunteer opportunities in the San Antonio community, and plans at least one fund raiser/food drive/community program per year.
Membership Committee
Coordinates activities to increase membership and membership satisfaction. Possible events include student outreach, socials, new member orientation, etc. Assists candidates and potential candidates with course work, application process, identifies potential candidates, and oversees the Mentor Program.
Programs and Special Events Committee
Evaluates member program preferences and selects appropriate topics and speakers for monthly luncheon and coordinates with the IREM office the program content at least two weeks prior to the luncheon. Introduces speakers at the meetings. Also plan, coordinate, promote and executes chapter social events. Oversees activity for IYP (IREM YOUNG PROFESSIONALS) that plans and executes events that specifically target the interests and professional needs of IREM’s under 40 members. Reaches out to non-IREM members earlier in their career.
Welcome and Registration Committee
Meets and greets members and guests at all chapter events. Helps new members and guests become involved in the chapter.
